Garden Party Wedding at Woodbine Mansion

A black tie, garden party wedding at Woodbine Mansion in Round Rock, TX where the wisteria was in full bloom and the vibes were immaculate.

On our first phone call, Ashley described her dream wedding day as “sultry, seamless, fun." Their number one priority was enjoying the day with their people and keeping it chill but allowing their personalities to shine through, because she has a lot of that. ;) She’s also the coolest and most fun gal. Prior to the wedding we got together and shared a bottle of champagne and talked about life and I thought, “I knew I liked this bitch.”

Ashley and Hunter met at a bar in Dallas over 7 years ago when she got knocked down by a group of guys and Hunter swooped in to save her. He was just impressed she managed not to spill her drink. They hit it off that night and while she didn’t text him back for a few days afterwards… She was secretly hooked.

Woodbine and it’s historical charm was the perfect location for their swanky affair. There was a variety of greenery, a clear top tent with twinkle lights and a band that only played grunge and 90s rock. The Motts were SO MUCH FUN. Hunter’s brother even jumped on stage to play a song, Ashley and Hunter crowd surfed and the dance floor was packed all night long.

The energy was incredible. In a recent post I discussed truly “living” your wedding day and they did just that. Everyone present could feel it in the air.

You can tell by the photos they had the time of their lives and it’s so clear how in love they are. I will always remember how this day felt — wild, fun and free.
