Celebrating the Real You

Authentic Wedding Photography in Austin & Beyond

Introducing a new kind of wedding photography experience.

One for couples who know the truth: that your wedding is a celebration of the real you.

Even if the real you is a total nerd, or an introvert, or a sassy bitch. (Especially if the real you is a total nerd, or an introvert, or a sassy bitch.)

I see you. My camera sees you. The world deserves to see you.

Let’s get this party started.

The easiest part of my entire wedding planning process was choosing Lauren to photograph our wedding. She’s the easiest vendor I’ve worked with across the board.

The Wedding Package

For bold couples getting married however the hell they want to in Austin and beyond.

5500 + tax

Includes:

  • 8-10 hours of wedding day coverage because I don’t want anyone feeling rushed through a timeline.

  • Second Photographer for all the angles and moments captured.

  • Engagement Session because it’s very important to me that we get to know each other before the wedding day so I can capture your love in a genuine way.

  • Unlimited guidance and help with creative planning. I’m here for you, always.

  • 600+ images in an online gallery with printing rights.

A La Carte:

Additional time - 450/hr The way my offering is created, usually 8-10 hours is ample time, but in case your wedding day looks different than most with some special events, we can always add more if needed.

Polaroid Film - 75 for 16 frames. This has been such a fun physical product to give after the day has passed. I try to take a little snapshot throughout each portion of the day. It feels nostalgic. :)

Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party coverage - 850, for 2 hours. Because the festivities don’t always have to begin on the wedding day. Lately my couples have loved to start the celebration early the day before and get all the mingling out of the way so that the real thing is purely fun! And I can be there to capture it all. :)

Travel Fee - 1+ hour drive outside of Austin will incur a travel fee of $.50/mile.

10x10 Lay Flat Wedding Album - Beginning at 1000 for 30 spreads. Photos from the best day ever don’t deserve to live on a hard drive. They should be tangible, in your hands, displayed on a coffee table to relive the magic whenever you want. You can pick the photos you want or I can do it for you. I will design a luxury hard cover album ready to pass down for generations to come! <3

Add on Sessions:

  • Bridals- 600, 75min. I will always aim to take single portraits of each of you on the wedding day, but this is for you if you want a little extra, a unique location or plan to have a portrait printed and on display at the wedding.

  • Boudoir- 600, 75min. This is for you if you’re down to get a little spicy. I have had people of all personalities and body types join in and it is the most fun, and they leave feeling empowered. Most people use their own homes or book an airbnb or studio.

  • Day After- 600, 75min. If you want more time for awesome photos but care most about hanging with your loved ones and don’t want your wedding day to feel like a photo shoot. Let’s get together the day after your wedding. We can return to your venue or choose a different location!

  • Adventure Session- 1200, 3-4 hours. This can also be used as an upgrade for the Day After or Engagement Session. This is for you if want to take your time and create an experience between you and your partner. What if we weren’t just taking photos, but doing a fun activity too? We could be hiking, having a picnic, riding bikes, and checking out many locations. This could be local or there is an option to travel for this, (travel fees will apply). I’ve had couples bring me to places like Big Bend National Park, Oregon coast, Seattle, Las Vegas and more. All for a little extra adventure. <3

The LP process

01. Let’s get you booked! After a video call to get to know each other, you’ll sign a contract and pay a non-refundable retainer to reserve your date on my calendar. I’m happy to offer payment plans, with your invoice paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding.

02. Prep time! I’ll send you a photography guide with tons of info and all my best tips for the big day. I’ll be in touch when your wedding gets closer with a questionnaire to get all the deets, like timelines and who the VIPs are in your life. Need help figuring all of that out? Hit me up — I’d love to help you sort out the details.

03. It’s time to get to work! I always bring a smile, positive outlook, and open mind to photoshoots and wedding days. Forget the shot list — I’ll help you focus on having an unforgettable experience, and the magazine-worthy images will come easily. You’ll get to see sneak peeks just a few days later.

04. Fast forward 8–10 weeks after your wedding (or 2–3 weeks after your portrait shoot) and you’ll receive your full gallery in your inbox. Get ready to relive the best day over and over again!

Questions? I’ve got you.

  • Portrait sessions have a turnaround time of 2–3 weeks. Weddings take a little longer because there are more photos. You’ll get your final wedding gallery within 8–10 weeks after your wedding day.

  • All galleries include basic retouching, such as removing blemishes and enhancing colors to reflect the magic of the day. I do not alter people’s bodies (because your body is beautiful just the way it is — lumps and bumps included). If you’d like extensive photoshopping that surpasses my skills, I can arrange for an expert to edit your images for an additional fee. In order to protect the integrity of my work, no, I do not distribute unedited image files.

  • I don’t work with shot lists because they leave no room for accidental shots (a.k.a. when the magic happens). Instead, we’ll discuss all of the important wedding details in advance, like the moments and people you want captured most.

  • You bet your ass I can! I promise that you’re not awkward or unphotogenic. Maybe you just haven’t had the right person giving you direction? Let me guide you.

  • Because it’s part of the process. If you’re hiring me, I want to know you. Better yet, I need to know you in order to do great work. This is an opportunity for me to familiarize myself with you as a couple ahead of your wedding day.

  • Hell yes! Becoming a destination wedding photographer is kind of my dream, actually. Whether you’re getting married in Tahiti or your grandma’s backyard in Idaho, please reach out. All weddings outside of Texas, will incur a travel fee. If you have a place for me to stay I am open to that as long as I have my own bedroom.

About LP

I’m Lauren Parr (she/her), and even though we haven’t met yet, I can tell we’re going to be fast friends. It’s kinda a non-negotiable between me and my couples; connection is where the magic happens. That’s because good photography isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about seeing people. And I want to see you truly, deeply, genuinely. Can’t wait to get to know ya, friend.

Places I’ve worked: Austin, TX | Louisville, KY | Atlanta, GA | The Shoals, AL | Los Angeles, CA | Oregon Coast | Orlando, FL | Denver, CO | Tulum, Mexico | The Great Smoky Mountains | DFW | Houston, TX | Big Bend, TX | Oklahoma | Phoenix, AZ | Las Vegas, NV | Seattle, WA | New Orleans, LA

I Can’t Wait To Be Friends

Sounds cheesy as hell, but it’s true. Maybe it’s my degree in psychology, or maybe it’s my enneagram 3-ness, but my superpower is seeing people. What makes you happy? What makes you cry? What makes you feel beautiful? Seeing all of you is my favorite. And on your happiest day, you deserve to be surrounded by people who truly see and celebrate you.
